Four works spanning painting, sculpture and collage transform the catastrophe into a sensitive archive of loss, resilience and collective aid.

The face holds a collective grief. Water, flag and mourning merge in an image of loss and of the open wound left by the DANA floods in the Valencian people.

Among broken wood and mud, fragments of bodies still try to emerge. The material holds the fragility and suffering of childhood trapped beneath the debris.

An incomplete hand rises from a mesh of iron. Its gesture brings together the call for help and the strength of those who came to support others.

The cry opens a path through water, mud and swept-away vehicles. On the bridge, the community moves forward: this work turns help into shared memory.
Individual works

Light moves from density towards open space. The brushstroke turns the inner landscape into a current of energy seeking to cross the immensity.

A floral body rises before the city. The roots of the earth ascend as colour, shaping a figure that inhabits nature, identity and light.

Within the prison of the body dwell two opposing yet complementary forces. Love and pain emerge through mesh and recycled matter, tearing the form open from within.

The Mother nourishes every creature and grants them life. From the breast, essence expands as particles of light and energy offered unconditionally to the universe.

Plant matter breaks through colour while retaining its own fragility. Bright Nature speaks of the vital energy connecting all creatures and transforming their surroundings.

Civil war, dictatorship, republic and democracy overlap in an archive of gazes, voices and memory. A call to new generations not to forget the values that were won.

An eye opens among flashes, symbols and everyday remnants. Awakening traces a passage from escape towards a consciousness that chooses to look.

About
Alicia Pérez · Visual artist
I work at the intersection of matter, image and movement. Painting, sculpture, collage and technology become languages through which I explore the body, memory, nature and transformation.
My practice begins with intimate observation and opens onto the collective: what moves through us, what we leave behind and the light that persists.
